Tele2 is withdrawing from the Finnish market based on the current competitive and regulatory environment in Finland, it has decided to discontinue its operations in Finland.
All Tele2 GSM subscriptions are terminated.
The loading feature for the GSM accounts has been removed (both manual and automatic). Further instructions and options for Tele2 GSM-customers:
A) A customer may keep his/her phone number and make a number porting to another operator
The customer has to choose a new operator independently and contact the new operator
The new operator should be contacted before November 15th in order to ensure continuous service
The customer has to inform the new operator of the fact that all Tele2 GSM subscriptions will be closed after November 30.
When the customer has ordered a number porting from another operator, the customer must contact Tele2 Customer care if the customer wants a refund of the amount left in the Tele2 GSM account

Please note:
Tele2 will not refund any campaign bonuses in cash that have been loaded on the account – only actual money loadings may be returned
The returned amounts will be paid to customers’ accounts within 30 days of the termination of the subscription
The returned amount will be checked at the time of closing the subscription
Amounts less than 2€ will not be returned
B) A customer may close the subscription and phone number
If the customer wants a refund of the money that has been loaded to the GSM account, the customer must contact Tele2 Customer service by 25th of November.
Please note:
Tele2 will not refund any campaign bonuses in cash that have been loaded on the account – only actual money loadings may be returned
The returned amounts will be paid to customers’ accounts within 30 days of the termination of the subscription
The returned amount will be checked at the time of closing the subscription
Amounts less than 2€ will not be returned
The customer has to choose either of the described options above. Regardless of the customer’s choice, all subscriptions will be terminated and closed after 30th of November. Any amounts left on the accounts after the termination will not be redunded.
