Import and export of animals
The website of the Finnish Food Safety Authority (Evira) provides a comprehensive information package about questions related to the import and export of animals. For detailed information about possible certifications required in order to transport an animal into a specific country, please contact the embassy of the country in question.
If the export of an animal requires an authorised certificate by a veterinarian, the municipal veterinarians of the City of Helsinki can inspect the animal and issue the certificate.
