Today's news from Kauppalehti: all most 20 sectors or occupations are opened for foreign (no-EU) labour. 9 out of 15 TE-keskusta have removed totally the checking before foreign labour can be taken for these sectors or occupations. These sectors include nurse, cleaner, chef, waiter, IT-programmer, etc.
A working group is also studying the possibility to simplify the 9-page long residence permit application form.
