The Soviet pilots were excellent in aerobatics, but the majority of them had no clear understanding how to utilize all these maneuvers during different phases of air combat. Infantry tactics prohibits all "canned" tactical solutions. Aerial tactics especially calls for recommends these canned solutions. Understanding this was the key to Finnish fighter successes. The Soviet fighter squadron resembled a mediocre football team. They couldn't come up with an effective attack since they didn't know the rules of team play and they hadn't rehearsed any attack plans
мы говорим о 1944 годе!!! По-моему, за 4 года боев (включая испанскую войну) можно было маучиться летать не хуже Финнов или Немцев.
