First registration
First registration must be carried out before the watercraft is taken into service. First registration refers to the time a watercraft of any kind is registered in Finland for the first time.
The owner or holder must declare the watercraft's actual and primary municipality of use in Finland. It is a requirement for registration that the watercraft will be taken into service in Finland.
First registration is subject to a fee.
