I believe you all have got general instructions about the upcoming
Independence day (6th Dec, next saturday) procession. However, due to some ill-behaving nitwits (foreigners) a few years ago we have to stress a few things in order to rub it in what this really is about.
The procession is about paying our respect to Finnish war heroes, who gave their lives as casualties of war when Finland's independence was under threat. It's a solemn occasion and we do not want anybody to belittle the purpose of the procession by chatting at all, taking photos or otherwise disrespectful behaviour. You will have plenty of time to chit chat or take photos some other time, this is not the place nor the occasion. Be your own judges and think of what is appropriate.
To sum it all up, BEHAVE YOURSELF OR DO NOT PARTICIPATE at all.
