Funny.
I have read a lot of finnish forums as well.
Never have I there seen this phenomenon, which I call the "Who's fault? -stage".
The Who's Fault? -stage appears usually and the end of a quarrel - sometimes at the end of a friendly and peaceful conversation. It involves accusations, theories of conspiracy and digging up old posts.
At the Who's Faul -stage most of the conversationists turn against each other.
Usually individual conversationists accuse the whole community (or a group) of not being broad-minded, patient, well-behaved, honest, "international", etc. etc. Sometimes, not so often, the community picks up one, who they call names, scrutinize, and decides, that this is the person to blame.
It's strange. The Who's Fault -stage may appear anywhere, after any subject.
I think I'll just leave you to this strange ritual of yours and move to the finnish side, as Reijo has already done.
Bye,
kissa.
